Kirsty F. Wilkinson is a professional genealogist based in Edinburgh, Scotland. She holds an MSc in Genealogical, Palaeographic & Heraldic Studies from the University of Strathclyde and is a member of the Association of Scottish Genealogists & Researchers in Archives (ASGRA). After successfully running her own genealogy business for over ten years, Kirsty recently accepted a position as a Genealogist Researcher with AncestryProGenealogists where she continues to specialise in Scottish research.
Kirsty grew up in Malvern, Worcestershire, and has ancestry from across the British Isles. She first became interested in family history after the death of her Scottish grandmother and has been pursuing her ancestors ever since. Particular research interests include poor relief records, craft & trade guilds and militia records. Kirsty is also the author of a course on Scottish Land & Property Records run by the National Institute for Genealogical Studies.
